FEVEST received the Green Seal, being recognized as an event that promotes its activities aimed at minimizing negative environmental impacts throughout its execution, from planning to the dismantling of the fair, serving as a multiplier of this concept for all visitors and collaborators!
FEVEST has received the Green Seal, being recognized as an event that promotes its activities aimed at minimizing negative environmental impacts during its realization, from planning to the dismantling of the fair, serving as a multiplier of this concept to all visitors and collaborators!
To do this, the event fulfilled several requirements, among them:
All structural material from the stands is reused;
All stand tarps are donated for sewing bags in a social project with APAE Nova Friburgo;
To be a Carbon Neutral event;
Offer accessibility at the event location;
Consider in communications the promotion of the sustainable practices adopted and reduction of printed material;
Prioritize hiring services from local companies and people at the event;
Choose reusable and/or recyclable promotional material;
Implement Selective Collection, from separation to disposal, prioritizing partnerships with Recycling Cooperatives;
Plan the handling of all event material (recycling and reuse);
Enable the offer of public transport that reduces the number of vehicles to the event;
Leave a positive legacy to the local community after the event.
With the Green Seal, FEVEST reaffirms its commitment to a more sustainable future, making the event a model of environmental and social responsibility.
With each edition, the fair seeks to inspire other initiatives and promote fashion in a conscious manner, proving that economic growth can go hand in hand with caring for the environment and having a positive impact on the community!
